Presently GARIBSONS (pvt) ltd has milling facilities of 70mt/hr consisting of 2 state of the art complete BUHLER (Swiss, German machinery), SATAKE (Japanese), 1 European, Chinese combination and three complete Chinese origin plants. These plants are installed at different locations in 5 acres of prime industrial area in the Sind Industrial Trading Estate (SITE) and 20 acres of industrial land at North West Industrial Area of Port Qasim. 5 SORTEX (English origin) machines including two latest Z series are in operation to cater to the specific client demands. All these equipments are backed with the latest lab equipments consisting of KETT meters, moisture meters, paddy to white rice mini mills.

 

In Sheikhupra and Jhang husking units are installed for ever rising demand of basmati rice over 35 acres of land where an automated parboil plant is running in full swing with a capacity of 15,000mt per annum. Paddy to white rice processing at its best can be seen here in around the clock operations.Warehousing facilities of 500,000 square feet spread over in SITE, Karachi and Port Qasim, Gharo, Sheikhupura and Jhang of industrial land of 140 acres with the ability to house over 150,000mt of raw materials.

                                                                                                              

This infrastructure successfully caters to our export volumes of over 150,000mt of all sorts of long grain rice (basmati (super kernel, 385, D98), Irri 6, Irri 9, brown, white, parboiled in varying polish degrees, graded and sortexed) sesame seeds and lentils. Most of the grains including rice are exported in our nationally and internationally registered brand name "MUGHAL" in over 40 countries globally, but we can also supply in the buyer's own choice of brands. A state of the art, BUHLER flourmill produces the finest quality of rice flour only for export purposes world wide under our coveted brand SILVER STAR

 

The export of wheat is currently disallowed, but in the years 2001-2002 and 2002-2003, Garibsons was the largest exporter of wheat out of Pakistan. Another feather in the cap would be the company's selection by the government to put up a 50,000mt grain silo project at Port Qasim. Initial proceedings are already in place.

 

Apart from being the largest commodity exporter, Garibsons is one of the oldest and largest manufacturer of particle board using bagasse (sugarcane industrial waste) as the raw material under its nationally famed and registered brands NUBOARD, NUMDF, NUSKINS, NUDOORS and NUWUD. We have now installed two of the most modern MDF and HDF plants at our woodworking complex at our Gharo facility existing on 70 acres of land. This set up shall ultimately going to be expanded to value addition of particle board, MDF and doorskins.

 

To cope up with all the mills of various demands, Garibsons has generators installed at different locations having an overall capacity of 3,500kW in addition to the installed load of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation and WAPDA.

 

The company is also involved in the manufacture of mosquito coils and a complete range of insecticides under their registered brand name TRAP that is presently catering to the local market and soon to hit the global markets. Garibsons is also a government approved fumigation agent.  Alongside this, a chewing gum plant has been installed with an aim to break into growing confectionary market both at home and abroad.
